  • black lives matter. there are protests going on around the world. and like me, many other people are unable to participate in such events. however, that is no excuse to give up. there are many ways you can contribute from home. these include signing petitions, donating to organizations that support causes like this, contacting local government officials to make a change, and much more. there is a lot of controversy going on about related topics, such as "why are so many people protesting over one death?". it's not just one death. its so many more. george floyd. breonna taylor. eric garner. mike brown and so many more. there are people out there getting killed just because of their skin color. because of the stereotype that is perceived by others just by simply looking at them. its gotten to the point where they don't even feel safe in their own homes anymore. another controveral topic going around is the looting going around during the protests. "why are you looting? its totally unnecessary" is what most people think of then they see business being looted. and i completely understand their point of view and their perspective. and i agree that all the looting has gotten out of hand. many people go to these protests just for the free stuff from their favorite designer stores or just a few pieces of clothing, which is completely wrong and unethical. but peaceful protests just aren't as effective anymore. all the successful protests that have happened in the past, such as the civil rights protest, were not peaceful. violence was necessary in order to get their voice heard. george floyd was KILLED because he used a counterfeit $20 bill, in which he was unaware of. for example, when you go to the store and get change back, you wouldn't have a way of knowing you have a fake bill. many people would have just been let off with a warning, but george floyd was kiled because of this.

  • brandy melville is known for its relatively small clothing. this store generally carries and produces clothing in "one size". brandy melville is an italian brand, founded in Italy. their clothes are produced for skinny and tall girls. their tops fit size xs-medium, while their bottoms fit a size 24-25 inch waist. the controversy that comes with this brand is their sizing. many people completey disagree with their sizing because it makes teenagers and customers all over the world feel bad about themselves. there are many demands to make their sizing all inclusive. however, there are some girls who think the sizing shoud remain the way it is now. this is because many stores carry clothing from a wide range of sizing, including plus sized clothing. this brand is trending at the moment between teenagers because of the cute, and simple fashion. what do you think about this? should brandy melville have a more inclusive size range so that all girls are able to wear it?
